Mr Wonderful's Birthday party
A surprise birthday party was given for our near, dear, close friend --Fred Bowen
on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at the Southside Grille,Rte 5, Vernon New York. A good time was had by all. Fred is the former owner (as was his father) of Radio Station WIBX, Utica,New York. Fred is now retired, a resident of State of Maine and a snowbird in Florida. As we told Fred -- don't worry about your birthdays. For the more birthdays you have -- the longer you live. Viva Freddy Bowen!

My husband Dan does the posts. Lots of the photo's are mine. It is rock climbing season, so those entries will start soon.
Thanks for including me in your blog. I was glad to be invited to celebrate early with fred with his 85th coming in Aug. This was a great oppotrunity to see him before leaving for Maine. Great to see you and chat about my heroism. Could not have saved a nicer guy.
